About the Artist-- Pearl Geiger
| Pearl was born in Newfoundland. She moved to Ontario in the late fifties, where she worked as a medical secretary, raised a family and pursued her interest in art. | ||
| Over the years she studied at various schools. She eventually went on to teach oil painting. She enjoys painting scenery, people, animals and still life. | ||
| She returned to Newfoundland in 2004, and now lives in Crow Head ,Twillingate with her husband, Michael. She loves to paint the local scenery and has completed several paintings since returning home. | ||
| Her work has been shown in galleries throughout Ontario. She is currently showing in various venues around Newfoundland.. | ||
| Her dream is to have a gallery of her own in the not too distant future. Meanwhile, for now she will open her home during summer to show her work.. | ||
| Pearl also welcomes commissions, and can paint portraits of people, pets and places. | ||

You will find Pearl very accommodating with any of your creative art ideas you may wish to commission. Pearl enjoys a creative challenge, and has experience with unique and creative projects. The news reporter at her introductory showing in Newfoundland noted in the "Pilot" newspaper article, her unique signature style on her paintings. The photo at the top right is also evidence of one of her creative projects.
